I created this infographic on grant writing careers for TECM 5185: Principles of Technical Communication. This infographic is one of the visual products from a larger project I completed on the profession of grant writing. To create this infographic, I started with an existing template in Canva, then changed the color palette, layout, and fonts to create a unique design. I added design touches such as a banner image, transparency image effects, font outlining, and graphic icons. I also drew on plain language and technical editing skills to tighten the text. I linked sources in the footer of the design. The target audience for this infographic is college students interested in pursuing grant writing.
